    Fantastic experience at the Spirit of the ANZAC experience. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times and the day went smoothly. Easy access and parking

    The MOST UNCOMFORTABLE seating I have ever had the misfortune of suffering. The place is old, run down and dingey but those seats are down right painful, literally PAINFUL. Never again.

    Terrible experience. Pushy staff and as soon as the featured act started they closed the bar! Janitor was already sweeping the floor and tidying the bathroom in an attempt to get out of there ASAP as I’m sure all the other staff were. Not good.

    A reasonable space, but Newcastle needs somewhere better. Car parking always costs, but the actual price varies by the function, so you can never tell what it will be. Parking is poor - just parking in a field - so it horrid in rainy weather and is a nightmare to exit at the end of the night. There's no pre-paid parking or credit cards - instead, pay a little old man some coins as you drive in, so bring lots of real cash. Seating is hard plastic - nothing fancy here. Food is expensive, as with most similar venues, and not particularly enjoyable. The venue is small and crammed. We only come here if we need to - otherwise we go see concerts in Sydney instead.
